Rethinking

how food

is grown

We grow more than 30 varieties of tomatoes in a 10,000 sq ft greenhouse built to prioritize flavor, consistency, and freshness.

No long supply chains. No early harvesting. No compromise on taste.

We saw

a better way.

Most tomatoes in grocery stores are bred for transport—not taste.

They’re picked early, shipped long distances, and ripened after harvest. It keeps them looking perfect on shelves, but it sacrifices what matters most: flavor. We take a different approach.

Our tomatoes are grown in a controlled greenhouse environment in Illinois, using living soil and varieties selected for taste—not shelf life. They’re left on the vine longer, harvested at peak ripeness, and delivered locally. No early picking. No long storage. No redesigning food for logistics.

Just tomatoes grown the way they should be.

So we built it.

In 2020, we built a 10,000-square-foot greenhouse in Illinois and designed our farm around one goal: growing exceptional tomatoes.

Today we grow more than 30 varieties in living soil, harvest throughout the season, and deliver directly to families, restaurants, and farmers markets across Chicagoland.

Better growing
creates better food.

Greenhouse

systems

Building our greenhouse taught us something. The challenge isn't just growing better food—it's making it easier for more people to grow it. That's why Greensys is expanding beyond produce. Alongside our farm, we're designing greenhouse systems inspired by the one we operate every day, helping more growers produce fresh, local food in their own communities.

we would love

to hear

from you

Whether you're here to buy, build, partner, or simply say hello, we're always happy to hear from people who care about better food.
